Community Reiki Circle/Share

"Come, come, whoever you are

Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving

It doesn't matter

Ours is not a caravan of despair

Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times

Come, yet again, come, come"

What's a Reiki Circle?

  • A Reiki Circle is a welcoming space to explore, practice, and deepen your connection with Reiki—whether you’re brand new or have years of experience.

  • No prior experience is needed. Every participant is offered Open Reiju* (attunement), providing a gentle yet powerful way to either begin your Reiki journey or enrich an existing practice.

  • If you’re new to Reiki, this is a beautiful introduction—an opportunity to experience both giving and receiving Reiki in a supportive, guided environment.

  • For existing Reiki students and teachers, the Circle offers a chance to refine your skills, gain hands-on experience, and connect with fellow practitioners, your teacher, and the wider Reiki community. All lineages are warmly welcome.

What can I expect?

  • Be ready to step into a Reiki Circle that honors the heart of the Japanese tradition—immersive, energizing, and deeply meaningful.

  • Along with receiving Reiju, you’ll be guided in chanting the Gokai (Reiki Precepts) in Japanese, allowing you to experience the practice in its original spirit and rhythm.

  • We’ll also share in Mawashi, a powerful group entrainment that helps harmonize and elevate the collective energy, along with other traditional practices that bring depth and connection to your Reiki journey.

  • Then, we transition into hands-on healing, sharing Reiki with one another in a safe and caring space.

  • And if there’s a graduating class, the celebration begins—certificates are presented with heartfelt applause, warm congratulations… and of course, CAKE!

What should I bring/wear?

  • Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and be free of excess jewelry.

  • Comfort items, such as blankets, pillows, bolsters etc. are already on site and will be provided, but if you have something special you like, feel free to bring it!

How much does it cost?

  • Reiki Circles are FREE to attend, but donations are GREATLY appreciated to help keep the lights on and the doors open. NO ONE is turned away for lack of funds.

Come ready to learn, connect, and be inspired!

* ‘Open’ Reiju is given only during a non-initiatory practice such as a Reiki Circle/Share, and is not the same as the deeper, more ritualized Reiju that is received in a class. It is used simply as a way of boosting sensitivity, enabling the individual to experience the feel of the energy more deeply, and to interact with it more effectively. It is also given at every single meeting between student and teacher, at the student’s request.
