会 = gathering

In Traditional Japanese Reiki tradition, a Kenkyukai is a space where practitioners come together not just to learn, but to deepen their connection to Reiki through shared practice, discussion, and reflection. Reiki was traditionally practiced in community. Students returned again and again to practice together. Learning did not end after a class. It is not a lecture. It is not a class. It is a circle of practitioners sitting together to practice Reiki and share experiences.
During a Kenkyukai we may:
• meditate together
• practice Reiki treatments
• revisit teachings
• explore questions that arise in practice
• cultivate presence and awareness
Each gathering is a little different.
Why Kenkyukai is important
Reiki deepens through repetition, presence, and shared experience. Practice reveals layers that cannot be learned from classes alone. Kenkyukai is not about learning more techniques. It is about continued training of the practitioner to develop a calm mind, open awareness, and to reinforce

If you feel called to deepen your Reiki practice, you are always welcome in circle.
